A Nigerian man named Hassan Adeyemo has been apprehended and is facing charges for the alleged fatal shooting of his wife, Sarah, within their residence located in Florida.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office (OCSC) issued a statement on Wednesday disclosing that Adeyemo is currently in custody at the Orange County jail in Florida. The arrest took place at the scene of the shooting on a Saturday night.
The statement conveyed that a domestic dispute occurred between Hassan Adeyemo and his wife, Sarah Nanchin Adeyemo. During the altercation, Hassan reportedly retrieved a firearm and tragically shot his wife, resulting in her death.
Law enforcement authorities promptly arrived at the location, a home on Taxiway Circle, in response to the shooting report.
The victim, identified as Sarah Nanchin Hassan Adeyemo, aged 43, was found with gunshot wounds and was rushed to a nearby medical facility. Despite medical intervention, she succumbed to her injuries.
The suspect, Hassan Teddy Adeyemo, aged 46, was taken into custody at the scene of the incident and is now facing charges of first-degree murder with a firearm.
Following his arrest, Hassan Teddy Adeyemo was booked into the Orange County jail on Sunday and is being held without bail. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office has not released further details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting incident.
