PARTY POLITICS: The All Progress Congress (APC) spokesman in Rivers State is reported to have dumped the party and joined ruling PDP barely two days after criticising Gov. Wike over the handling of a measles crisis in Abua Odua LGA of the state.

Barely two days after coming down hard on Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, the spokesman of APC and close associate of former Governor of Rivers State and immediate past Minister of transportation, Mr. Chris Finebone is said to have completed arrangement to announce his defection to the PDP he once vilified.
Mr. Finebone visited Governor Wike yesterday evening at his Ada George Road private resident. This unusual visit took many by surprise. However, many APC members in Rivers State have recently decamped and continues to leave the party in droves.
Nevertheless, Mr. Finebone was the least expected to dump the party for the PDP he has held in disdain. Mr. Finebone is yet to make an official statement on this, however, popular radio stations have announced it.
The picture of the Finebone, the PDP Governorship candidate and governor himself adorned social media handles of government media persons.

The APC in Rivers State has been in crisis ridden from the word go. The party keeps moving from one unresolved problem to the other. After missing the 2019 elections in the state.
The party has gone on to have congress that was less than satisfactory to her members. The party in the state, also witnessed the defection of Sen. Magnus Abe to the SDP. Before now, SMA (Sen. Magnus Abe) as he is fondly called , he was the albatross of the Rivers APC state leader, the former Governor Rotimi Amaechi.
