In the announcement, Multichoice said, “BBNaija is staying true to its reputation of having the biggest cash prize for any reality (TV) competition on the continent,” it said. “This season’s winner will take home a grand prize worth N100 million that includes N50 million cash and other exciting prizes.

“For the seventh season, the show will witness a return of a few pre-COVID 19 elements, including the fan-favourite ‘Ninjas’ and a live studio audience.”

The reward package also includes something for the numerous fans of the popular reality TV show, who will be expecting a cash prize of N1 million each for 30 fans in what they referred to as ‘Fave Lock-In’ promo.

The organisers have also given some insights on some other things that fans should expect during the new edition of the show.

They said that the previous voting style from the sixth season of BBNaija will be retained. They also enjoined the fans to expect more unpredictability and twists in the new season of the show, which will run for 72 days.

“The number of votes each subscriber will have will be determined by their subscription packages, with DStv Premium and GOtv SUPA subscribers receiving the most votes”, the Multichoice announcement read.
