TAIWAN TENSION: Insisting that the island nation of Taiwan remains a possession of the Beijing led Peoples Republic of China, the Chinese Foreign Ministry has made fun of Taiwan for “seeking independence.”
The Chinese government issued a warning to the government of Taiwan, stating that working with outsiders such as the United States of America could result in the annihilation of the Island.
The just concluded live-fire drills near Taiwan and the assertion by the authorities in response to the drills, claiming that China is attempting to scare the Taiwanese people have drew a counter response from the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
The Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) leadership and Taiwan’s president Tsai Ing-wen has been accused of misleading the Taiwan public, according to Chinese spokesperson Wang Wenbin.
Wang Wenbin said:
“This once again exposes their separatist nature and real agenda of seeking “independence”
According to the administration, all Chinese people aspire to achieve “full national reunification,” and this tendency in history cannot be stopped.
Wenbin emphasized that while China is prepared for a “peaceful reunion,” “separatist acts will not be tolerated.”
The spokesperson claimed that the complicity of Taiwan’s leaders “with external forces” will hasten their doom and plunge Taiwan into a pit of calamity.
China asserts that the “independence separatist project” will fail and warns against compromising one’s country’s interests.
