My mum was a single parent and a petty trader who sold groundnuts in the market … There were days she’d come home crying having not made any sales, so unable to buy us what to eat.”
BACKGROUND
Pastor Jerry Uchechukwu Eze is the founder of the Streams of Joy International, a Pentecostal Christian denomination church, with headquarters in Abuja FCT, and branches nationwide and in some locations across the world.
He is also the convener of the very popular online prayer channel – New Season Prophetic Prayer Declarations (NSPPD) that streams on both the YouTube video platform and Facebook Watch.
NSPPD started in the wake of the dreaded COVID-19 diseases that started ravaging the world since 2019, and led to global isolation and stay at home order issued by governments across the world.
As the churches could no longer open their doors to worshippers, some pastors and general overseers of churches began worshipping and praying online to connect with the members and followers who were isolating at home.
Streams of Joy International was one of such churches, and Pastor Jerry Eze immediately became very popular with his type of warfare prayers and prophetic declarations. His popularity also grew as testimonies started coming from all over the world.
