Details of the meeting between the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Tinubu, his vice presidential running partner Kashim Shettima, and certain governors elected on the party platform have come to light.
Before the 2023 general election, Tinubu met with various governors and party leaders, according to a previous article from a media source seen by Clariform correspondent.
After the meeting, Nasir El-Rufai, the governor of Kaduna State, told reporters that the APC Presidential Campaign Council would soon be announced.
After handing Tinubu a report from a committee for consultation on Monday, El-Rufai announced that the choice of who will become the Director-General of the committee would be made public.
He added that before Tinubu introduces the committee members, the report will be given to the party’s National Working Committee (NWC).
