The shooting Stars football club, Ibadan Tuesday announced the appointment of Dosu Joseph as their new goalkeeper trainer for the 2022/2023 football season.
Dosu’s appointment came 24 hours after the appointment of Gbenga Ogunbote as Head Coach of the Oluyole warriors as they are called. These appointments is intended to reposition the club for the season.
Dosu Joseph, who was a former goalkeeper of Oluyole Warrior will work as the club’s new goalkeeper trainer. The ex-international was until recently the goalkeeper trainer of MFM FC.

Dosu Joseph was the NO 1 goalkeeper of the Atlanta 96 Dream team that won goal at Olympics. Dosu was excellent in goal, and his magnetic goalkeeping in no small way contributed to the team’s success at the Atlanta games.
After the Atlanta Olympic games, Dosu Joseph like many others in the Dream team were called up to the Super Eagles.
However, Dosu goalkeeping career was brought to a rude end after he was involved in a ghastly motor accident as he drove to Badagry in Lagos.
Dosu’s car was said to have ran into a herd of cattle on the Lagos-Ikorodu express road. The accident left him with a damaged spinal cord that put an end to a short but sterling career.
