INSECURITY: According to Ondo State Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, the Wednesday shooting at the Craneburg Construction yard in Owo was intended to damage some of their equipment rather than hurt or kill anyone.
Akeredolu, who accompanied Adetunji Adeleye, Commander of the Amotekun Corps, and the state’s top security officials to the building site, warned the locals not to panic.
The old town was attacked on Wednesday night by the gunmen, sending the locals scrambling for cover.
