Following continuous deterioration of security in the country, Governor Yahaya Bello has directed that all brothels in Kogi State that house prostitutes be shut down to prevent further security lapses in the state.
In the same vein, the governor has also placed a ban on the wearing of facemasks in public areas.
This according to the governor is to allow for effective identification of people around the state.
Governor Bello issued this directive on Tuesday in Lokoja, during a meeting with all of the state’s first- and second-class traditional rulers, as well as local council chairmen.
