Following the unfortunate jailbreak incident at the Kuje correctional center, Abuja by the Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP), the federal government has now released some list of the escapees.
Clariform reminds our readers that the ISWAP terrorists on Tuesday night successfully broke out at least 64 members of the Boko Haram terrorist group, and many other criminal inmates from the Kuje facility.
The list of those escaped inmates declared wanted by the government are 33 in number, and their full names and photos were released to the public on Friday.
Some of those declared wanted are Muhammad Sani Adamu, Muktar Umar, Nambil Zakari Gambo, AbdulKareem Musa, Abdulsalami Adamu and others.
Clariform recalls that over 900 inmates, including Boko Haram suspects who were in the prison, escaped according to government official account.

The permanent secretary in the ministry of interior, Shuaib Belgore, who addressed the media in the morning after the act disclosed that the ISWAP terrorists came “very prepared” and attacked with both heavy guns and explosives.
He also said, “The initial entry attempt was unsuccessful, then they attacked another section of the wall with higher grade explosives which brought the wall down,” said Belgore.
“The forces on ground did everything they could to repel them, but the number they came with were high, which they were not able to defend against.
“They kept on fighting gallantly [but] unfortunately the breach happened. Reinforcement came when they were halfway through it. They were eventually repelled. At the time they came in, they killed one NSCDC personnel while trying to save the situation.
“The inmates here are 994. We understand they are Boko Haram terrorists and came specifically for their conspirators.“
Responsibility for the dastardly act which happened on the wee hours of Tuesday night have since been claim the dreaded Islamic State in West Africa Province (ISWAP).
