Nnamdi Okafor, the majority leader of the Anambra State House of Assembly, has passed away.
Before his passing, Okafor, also known as Akajiugo Awka, served as the state Assembly’s representative for the Awka South Constituency 1.
There are still many unknown issues surrounding his death, however unconfirmed sources claim that the politician died after collapsing early on Wednesday in a hotel in Sandton City, Johannesburg, South Africa. His death was later confirmed.
Clariform reports that the deceased lawmaker went on a legislative retreat with other state lawmakers.
