Clariform investigation have revealed that the Adoration Ministry Enugu, Nigeria, AMEN, owned by the controversial catholic priest, Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka was not shot by the Catholic Church authorities.
Instead, the church under the authority of the Enugu Catholic Diocese has banned catholic faithful and the clergy from attending mass celebration or any church event organized by the Adoration Ministry.
Reverend fathers, Sisters, and all ordained ministers in the Catholic Church are forbidden from joining Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka to celebrate mass or any activities organized by Mbaka`s church.
This order was contained in a statement that was personally issued by the Bishop in charge of the Catholic Diocese of Enugu, in the person of Callistus V.C Onaga.
The order is to remain until the Diocese concludes what it refers to as “due canonical process initiated by the Dioceses”.
The Bishop also further enjoined the catholic faithful to “keep praying” for Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka as he “entrust him and the Diocese to the maternal care and protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Queen of the Apostles.”
CATCH UP
Father Ejike Mbaka has become a controversial catholic priest and this rose sky-high from the role he played in the election of President Muhammadu Buhari whom he publicly supported against the then President Goodluck Jonathan, who was defeated in the 2015 election.
Mbaka is the founder and the Spiritual Leader of the Adoration Ministry Enugu, Nigeria, AMEN, Fr Ejike Mbaka. For wrong reasons, Mbaka has the penchant for making himself a topical issue in the political circle in Nigeria since 2015, or perhaps since the days of Governor Chimaroke Nnamani in Enugu State.
This became the case again recently, when he criticized and perhaps “cursed” the candidate of the Labour Party (LP) for the February 2023 presidential election, Mr Peter Obi, saying he will never become president of Nigeria because he is a “stingy man”.
His comments earned him strong rebook from the hierarchy of the catholic church and across the nation from people who considered his (Mbaka`s) comments and attitude as unbecoming of a clergy man, especially as a catholic priest.
Father Mbaka has now tendered apology to Mr. Peter Obi, the Presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP) and former two time governor of Anambra State, who he described as a ‘stingy man that cannot give people his money,’ and will never become the next President of Nigeria.
Clariform has transcribed Father Mbaka`s earlier comments attacking the person of Peter Obi. We have also obtained Mbaka`s recent apology and supposed “blessings” on Peter Obi for the unprovoked negative comments and ill wishes against Obi.
