BACKGROUND

The Obidient Movement as the supporters of Labour Party Presidential candidate Peter Obi are fondly called, have organised many successful “one million man march across various cities in the country as they keep canvassing support for Peter Obi ahead of the February presidential election.

COMMENTARY

The Labour Party Presidential candidate Peter Obi indeed have a growing list of passionate supporters across the country, and this have been demonstrated through the rallies that have been organized in support of the candidate.

The other parties in the forthcoming election have their hands full and have acted in ways that suggests that the fear of Peter Obi is the bases of most of their decisions and activities.

Yes it’s not over yet and the result of the 2023 election is certainly too early to call, but the popularity of the labour Party candidate has gone sky-high since his declaration for the office of the president.
