NOLLYWOOD: The entertainment industry has lost a star as famous Nollywood actress, Ada Ameh allegedly dies at 48, whose death can been described as “sunset at noon”.
Ada, Born on May 15, 1974, in Ajegunle, Lagos was popular for her role in the television series “The Johnsons” amongst others.
She reportedly died on Sunday and this report of her death was confirmed by the President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, Emeka Rollas.
In previous times, the actress had spoken about her unstable mental state following the loss of some family members in the past.
She had once spoken about her traumatic experience after the loss of her daughter in October, 2020.
Few weeks before her demise, She made some disturbing remarks about her mental challenges, she said, “Everything is going to be fine. I have an issue right now, and it’s taking my life. I will not die. We will get over it.”

Following her last interview on TVC’s Your View, July 1, 2022, she talked about her transition through depression. She said the following
“I had depression, max depression. I’ve been depressed for some years, and it worsened when I lost my daughter in 2020. We practically grew up together. She was like my younger sister,” Ameh had said.
“I had lost three sisters before that time, and each had three children. I’ve lost three of my brothers and my father. So after mourning all these people, and then (I lost) my daughter,”
“When my daughter died, my world crumbled before me, and sometimes, I see myself crying for days.”
