COMMENTARY
Recall that Clariform Newsdesk, had in previously reported that the Tribunal had on August 22, granted leave to Gov. Gboyega Oyetola and his party, the All Progressives Congress to inspect materials used for the July 16, governorship election which he is challenging.
The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared Ademola Adeleke the winner of the July 16, Osun governorship elections, where he defeated the incumbent, Oyetola.
Not satisfied with the result of the election, incumbent governor Gboyega Oyetola, filed a suit at the tribunal, challenging the outcome of the election. Governor Oyetola in the suit joined Adeleke, the PDP and INEC to the tribunal through his lead counsel, Mr Yomi Aliyu (SAN).
Clariform Newsdesk will continue to monitor the development at the Osun State election tribunal and report to our esteemed readers.
