Following the arrest of a suspected Boko Haram leader, there is unrest and uncertainty in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun State.
We learned that Department of State Services (DSS) agents in Ogun State were responsible for the alleged terrorist’s capture on Saturday night.
The majority of Abeokuta inhabitants are currently panicked as word of the arrest spread throughout the State capital.
This is in response to reports that terrorists are preparing to target some South Western States.
A trustworthy source informed our correspondent on Sunday that the alleged Boko Haram leader was apprehended in the city’s Ijaye neighborhood.
According to reports, the alleged terrorist initially made an effort to elude capture but eventually submitted to the might of the DSS agents.
According to information obtained, the Boko Haram leader relocated from Katsina to Abeokuta, where he worked as a security guard since his arrival at the state capital.
According to security officials, the alleged Boko Haram came to Abeokuta to establish terrorist cells for kidnapping and terrorist activities.
He was said to have done the same in Abuja, Kaduna, and Zamfara before he moved to Abeokuta.

At the time of writing this report, the Boko Haram commander is still in the custody of the DSS.
However, the spokesman of the DSS, Peter Afunanya, neither denied nor confirmed the arrest. Replying to a message sent to him, he said, “No comment.”
Also, Abimbola Oyeyemi the Ogun State police spokesman said the command was yet to be informed of the arrest.
