The Tanzanian police detained Kizz Daniel on Monday as a result of his alleged refusal or failure to appear at a concert on August 7 despite having been allegedly paid for his appearance by the show`s promoter.
The promoter, Uwa claimed to have spent no less than $300,000 on the concert, including allegedly paid to $60,000 for Kizz Daniel’s fee to participate. Despite this, the singer failed to perform.
The promoter claims he was sobbing and pleading with Kizz Daniel to perform in other to avoid damage to his (Uwa`s) reputation, but the singer refused to honour his part of the bargain.
