“Mr. Ataga was a friend and I don’t know how to elaborate more. He has not shown me pictures of his family but he sometimes acts like he was married and not that he is married. I have met him up to four or five times; he takes drugs and drinks alcohol. It is not that I am trying to put anything together.’’…Miss Ojukwu referring to the diseased, Usifo Ataga.

WHAT WE ARE WATCHING

We are watching to see where the police investigation goes and what it further reveal regarding the murder. We are also monitoring if there could any truth to the rumors that Miss Ojukwu may not be the only culprit to the murder, but may have been used by some other persons who wanted Usifo Ataga “out of the way”.

We are also following up with the threat from the law firm of Rickey Tarfa & Co to sue “bloggers” and the “media” “to seek redress for the apparent instances of libel and slander as appropriate,’’ “for peddling falsehood aimed at maligning the deceased, his wife and children.” We shall keep our readers posted.
