The death of the Chief Executive Officer of Super TV, allegedly in the hands of a 21-year-old Miss Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu who is a student of University of Lagos has shocked the whole country. It is indeed one murder that will never be forgotten in a jiffy. It is as shocking as it is revealing. There are lessons and revelations in the unfortunate episode.
HISTORICAL BACKGROUND
The late Usifo Ataga was first declared missing on Sunday, June 13th in Lagos. He was later found dead in a pool of his own blood in a serviced apartment in the Lekki area of Lagos, which he rented for pleasure with his girlfriend. On Wednesday, the Lagos police arrested an unnamed female suspect whom they described as the last person that was seen with the diseased alive.
The 21-year-old Miss Chidinma Adaora Ojukwu was paraded by the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, Hakeem Odumosu, for allegedly killing Chief Executive Officer, Super TV, Usifo Ataga. The police also further accused Miss Ojukwu of stealing money from the diseased bank account, using his ATM card.
In a media interview, the UNILAG student owned up to killing the Super TV boss following a disagreement while having “fun” together. She also shared various details about her life, her relationship with the late Ataga Usifo and the final moments leading to his death.
