BACKGROUND
On the 24th of February, President Putin ordered his troops into Ukraine in an attempt to quickly seize the capital, Kyiv and topple the government of President Zelensky.
Military analysts and Western intelligence have agreed that the Russian leader has projected to achieve this ambition with the first week of the invasion. However, this has not been so, as the Ukrainian people and the military have resisted Putin with all their might.
With moral, financial and various supports from the West, the Russian military have suffered heavy damages, including the loss of lives and equipment to the less equipped Ukrainian army.
